For statistical purposes, record keeping, and awards, we have created a few new categories. They are a Power Rating (PRS/PRD),
and Power Victories (PV).
Power Rating Singles (PRS)
Power Rating Doubles (PRD)
The average strength of opponent that the athlete faces from the other team.
The lower the number, the more difficult or higher ranked their opponent was.
For example, if Susan played at #1 the first week, #3 in week 2, and #5 in week 3, then her Power Rating would be a 3.
That number is created by adding the strength of opponent and dividing it by total matches played.
Power Victory
Beating your opponent by a 4/1 game ratio or better.
Ex = 8-2, or 6-1,6,2 = 1PV.
